Durie 'Clan of the Month' - The Scottish Banner, May 2015
While we were delighted that the Duries were selected to be 'Clan of Month' in the May 2015 edition of The Scottish Banner' there were two problems with the article. The first is that the Duries are not a 'clan', they are a family; the second is that the information, the origin of the family and its name, in the first part of the article, have long-since been disproved. However the second half of the piece is fine! And we are delighted to be mentioned in such publications so, having advised the author of the errors, we are all still good friends!
